By Marge Crunkleton

Welcome to Marge Crunkleton's Gallery of vintage style mannequin heads... crafters of excellent reproductions. These vintage style designs deliberately mimic the rare originals in Marge's private collection. Crunkleton, being 82 years old is well aware of what vintage should look like... and this is reflected in her portrayal of mannequin heads circa 1920 to 1950's.

Each head is head is cast in a Resin Porcelain medium exclusively in North Carolina, she carefully hand paints each one personally, then signs it... the head cures and is packed in styrofoam for safe shipping.

FYI: Why is this "Crunkleton Mannequin" page linked to the "Lincoln County Garden Club"?

About 1985 Marge Crunkleton created a line of collectable and eccentric senior citizens. Of course they lived in "Crunkle-ville". They were fun-loving spirited folks that wore vintage clothing, hats, jewelry, etc.

It was suggested that Marge dress like her figurines (vintage clothes, hats, jewelry) when doing "signings" at shops that carried her products. What fun!

Soon Marge accumulated many lovely hats but could not bare packing them away in hat boxes where she could not see them. Crunkleton's solution was to collect vintage mannequins enabling her to display her hat collection and jewelry all over her house.

Friends would drop by and marvel at her unique display of heads, hats, and jewelry. Crunkleton often declined offers to purchase her unusual collection... she could not part with a thing.

Marge decided to reproduce her collection and this is what started "Crunkleton Mannequins".

You see, the "LCGC" and "Crunkleton Mannequins" were created by the same gene pool and are linked together in more ways than cyberspace. I just thought you might like to know.
